Comprehensive Screening
Tri State Domestic’s employee screening service and reference checks are comprehensive and thorough. All candidates have at least two years’ experience working in a private residence, submit verifiable references that are vetted, speak English fluently, and are legal to work in the United States.
Our goal is to ensure we provide you with candidates that we would trust in our own homes. We utilize a third party investigation company owned and operated by former law enforcement officials. They also conduct background investigations for the Department of Homeland security, and other government agencies. Applicants that you choose to employee will have the following screenings performed:
National Criminal Background Investigation
The records of the applicant throughout the United States in each state and each county that the applicant has previously resided, or is currently residing in. Searches will track an applicant’s history with physical searches of court documents from a nationwide network of investigators.
The investigation attempts to reveal misdemeanors, felonies, criminal offenses, criminal child abuse charges, criminal sex offender charges, and prior & pending judgements.
Social Security Trace
The S.S. trace provides an instant result associated with the applicants’ prior & current address history, verifies first name, last name, date of birth, and aliases. The Social Security Number trace is an important tool that identifies which county courthouses and state wide repositories will be searched as part of the criminal or civil court searches.
Sex Offender Search
A national sex offender search is conducted from registries, the Department of Corrections and other criminal databases in all 50 states, The District of Columbia, U.S. Territories, & American Indian Country. The Search determines information regarding the location of offenders who, in most but not all cases, have been convicted of sexually violent offenses against adults and/or children, certain sexual contact, and other crimes against minor victims.
Motor Vehicle Report
The Motor Vehicle Report or Abstract, as it is sometimes referred to verifies, names, addresses, date of birth, license number, issue and expiration date, license status, class, and type, driver description, driving convictions, moving violations and a detailed driving history, if one exists.
